Introducing RGE RD Larder — a one of a kind pop up wine bar at Vignettes’ Brick and Mortar festival. We are thrilled to bring RGE RD’s distinct quality and hospitality to the downtown core in a bespoke space realized by the talented Vignettes design team. For one month only we will  be reaching into the depths of our wine cellar and slicing up The Butchery’s meaty treats to please palates while Brick & Mortar provides Edmontonians with new reasons to linger downtown. Imagine tins of seafood, cured meats, local cheese and hand-chopped beef tartare all paired expertly with a range of wines from international and Canadian growers. 

The larder is traditionally defined as a small room or cupboard in a home used for storing food — notably preserves, conserves, cured and smoked meats, and of course, bottles of wine. In  the past, as the temperatures dropped ahead of shorter days and long dark nights it was a  priority to ensure the larder was well stocked for the winter. We are now stocking and  preparing the RGE RD Larder to serve as the intimate place to cozy up with a few glasses (or a bottle) of wine and fill bellies with satisfying cheese, charcuterie and snacks prepared daily at The Butchery by RGE RD. As always, we invite our guests to join us as we venture off the beaten path and explore the creativity, innovation and reinvention happening at the core of our city.  

Drinks: 

A curated selection of wine (both Canadian and International), paired expertly with the food and responding to the whim and desire of the moment.

Eats: 

Selections of The Butchery charcuterie, Canadian cheese, beef tartare, The Butchery famous  sausage rolls, wood oven baked breads, Mary Manette tinned Canadian seafood, house made pickles, accompaniments and more.

Festival Activation: Every Friday night, the public will have access to the restaurant’s secret speakeasy.
